Stiles Middle School
As part of our recruitment process, we set up a zoom meeting with the engineering teacher at Stiles Middle School in order to reach students to tell them about robotics, as well as talking to them what classes they can take in high school to prepare them for careers in engineering, computer science and business/marketing. We created a slideshow which was presented at the zoom meeting by our team Captain, Sebastian, Audrey from 7797, and Jonathan from 7797. We also made arrangements with the teacher to donate old mecanum wheels so that engineering students can learn how to use them. Rogue Resistance is also currently trying to start up efforts to start a First Lego League team at Stiles MS to spread the FIRST competition throughout Leander ISD.

Game Manual 0 Contributions
In order to try and help other teams, our team captain, Sebastian, wrote a leadership page for the most comprehensive guide for FTC teams, game manual 0, which is managed by Daniel from team 7026 JDroids. The page includes different systems of leadership that a team can use, as well as warning about serious pitfalls a team may fall into such as not having good communication or enough software-hardware connection. He is also helping to reformat the mechanical pages of gm0 and working on a team organization section.

8th Grade Night
Last spring, our Hardware Lead, Sebastian O, attended VRHS 8th grade night with Mr. Flores, the Engineering teacher at VRHS. While there, they talked to incoming 8th graders about the PLTW engineering programs offered at Vista Ridge, specifically Intro to Engineering design, Aerospace Engineering, and Principles of Engineering. They managed to talk to dozens of children and parents, and also talked about how to join VRHS robotics to be part of a team for this year's season, as well as what to expect from high school engineering and robotics.

Trunk or Treat
To contribute to our community , our team hosted a booth for our
school's Halloween event where we handed out candy to children .
Through this event, we were also able to showcase one of our robots to a large audience. This event helped more students at our school learn more about our team and our skills as a whole.
We were able to show students the progress made by our team.
Overall, it was a great way to start off the year as we managed to catch the attentions of many people both in our school and not part of our school!
